Registered Veterinary Nurse – Full-time Role
Location & Setting
We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at The Rowe Vets – Wotton on a full-time basis.
Wotton-under-Edge Surgery and MRI Centre is located just 10 minutes from junction 14 of the M5, with easy access to Bristol. As a friendly, supportive team working to a high clinical standard, you’ll join a busy first-opinion practice with three vets, where you’ll experience a variety of interesting cases.

How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you’ll be an integral part of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care while ensuring excellent client experiences. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting veterinary surgeons and the team in the nursing care of first-opinion cases
- Contributing to clinical standards and improving patient care protocols
- Collaborating across a variety of medical and surgical disciplines

Working Pattern
- Full-time contract (40 hours per week)
- 5 working days per week, with 8-hour shifts rotating between 8:00 am and 7:30 pm
- 1:6 weekend rota at our Bradley Stoke Hospital (working Saturdays & Sundays, with time off in lieu)
Key Responsibilities
- Running nurse clinics
- Assisting with our feline radioactive iodine therapy unit
- Supporting MRI procedures and spinal anaesthesia
- Supporting surgical and dental procedures

Ideal candidates will bring: ✔ Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS ✔ Clinical practice experience, with confidence in medical and surgical nursing ✔ Strong communication skills – building positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and team leads ✔ Excellent organisation & workload management ✔ A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement
