As a Regulatory Affairs Specialist based in Manchester, UK (hybrid, part‑time), you will play a vital role in enabling Arxada’s continued growth and market access across the EMEA region. Working within the Microbial Control Solutions business area, you will contribute regulatory expertise that supports business continuity, customer confidence, and compliant innovation. Collaborating closely in a matrix environment, this role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact across multiple product areas while helping Arxada go beyond in delivering sustainable, science‑led solutions.

Essential Job Functions:
Deliver regulatory aspects of business-critical projects such as coordination and submission of EMEA biocidal product and/or active substance dossiers to achieve registrations Manage post‑submission activities to drive favorable outcomes, including engagement with regulatory authorities and other stakeholders Provide clear regulatory expertise, policy analysis, and advice to internal stakeholders and customers Partner cross‑functionally with Marketing, Sales, R&D, Quality, and Product Safety teams to support strategic and technical regulatory objectives Monitor and communicate regulatory changes and assess their impact on the product portfolio Demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and a collaborative mindset to support broader regulatory team goals
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrable working experience Min. 1+ years experience in Regulatory Affairs within biocides Working knowledge of BPR, CLP, REACH, and related regulatory frameworks Hands‑on experience with IUCLID and R4BP3 Strong attention to detail with the ability to translate complex regulatory topics for non‑experts Proactive, commercially aware, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a matrix environment

Microbial Control Solutions (MCS) focuses on threats posed by microorganisms to people and planet through five distinct business lines including Professional Hygiene, Home & Personal Care, Wood Protection, Paints & Coatings and Material Protection.
Nutrition, Care & Environmental (NCE), meanwhile, provides materials used to manufacture composites for electronics, aerospace and other markets, as well as vitamins and nutritional ingredients, chemicals and performance intermediates, and raw materials for a wide range of high‑performance applications.
