Regulatory Business Analyst | Data Reporting Solutions 6 Month Contract | £430/day (Outside OFR) | London (Hybrid) | Full-Time | Start ASAP
Role Overview
A leading regulatory data and reporting platform is seeking a Regulatory Business Analyst with deep expertise in global market regulations to drive client onboarding and data alignment. Based in London (hybrid), this 6-month contract offers exposure to impactful work within financial compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for client onboarding, covering:
- Regulatory reporting requirements and compliance frameworks
- Client transaction/reference data validation
- Analyse complex data streams against:
- EMIR (European Market Infrastructure Regulation) mandates
- SFTR (Securities Financing Transaction Regulation)
- Related G20 regulatory regimes
- Identify critical reporting gaps, assess risks, and propose actionable solutions
- Translate arcane regulatory constraints into practical business requirements for onboarding/data teams
- Act as a trusted advisor, clarifying interpretations and ensuring data integrity for clients and internal stakeholders

Essential Experience
- Extensive hands-on expertise in regulatory reporting (EMIR/SFTR paramount)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in:
- Capital markets, trading, or financial datasets
- Transaction workflows and reporting standards
- Proven Business Analysis track record, preferably in fintech/digital compliance environments
