Description

YouLend is looking for a Regulatory Compliance Manager to support the design and scaling of our global regulatory framework as we expand into new markets and pursue additional authorisations.

This is an individual contributor role, reporting directly to the Head of Regulatory Compliance. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy and ownership, partnering closely with senior leadership, product, and commercial teams to enable compliant growth.

It is not a Financial Crime (AML/KYC) or Transaction Monitoring role.

This is a primarily regulatory-focused role, with deep involvement in policy, governance, and licensing strategy. We are looking for a specialist with strong technical expertise in regulatory frameworks and authorisations.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Architecture and Authorisations

  • License Expansion: Support compliance workstreams for new regulatory authorisations and Variations of Permission (VoP) across the UK, EU, and other target jurisdictions.
  • Framework Design: Support with the evolution YouLend’s regulatory compliance framework, ensuring policies, KRIs, and reporting structures are scalable for a high-growth, international business.
  • Advisory & Product Governance: Act as a trusted regulatory advisor to Product and Commercial teams, guiding them through complex regulatory landscapes in B2B financing and payment services.

Governance and Technical Oversight

  • Regulatory Reporting: Own the end-to-end regulatory reporting process, ensuring accurate and timely submissions to the FCA and other relevant authorities.
  • Prudential and Conduct Standards: Ensure ongoing compliance with key regulatory expectations, including Consumer Duty, Safeguarding, and Outsourcing requirements.
  • Horizon Scanning and Impact Analysis: Translate upcoming regulatory developments (e.g., PSD3, EU lending directives) into clear, actionable business changes.
  • Management Reporting: Deliver high-quality, insight-driven reporting to senior leadership, providing a clear view of the firm’s regulatory risk profile.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
