Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager – Prudential Location: Remote – UK

We’re looking for a sharp, analytical Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager to lead and implement our prudential regulatory frameworks. Responsibilities

As a critical pillar of our second line of defense (2LoD), you’ll ensure our prudential practices are watertight and highly resilient. Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Prudential Oversight: Providing expert oversight on prudential compliance obligations and related operational controls across the business.
  • Incident Challenge: Reviewing and challenging 1LoD incident reviews to ensure robust, effective, and long-term remediation.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: Identifying regulatory issues before they surface and recommending strategic solutions to promote compliance.
  • Policy Crafting: Challenging, assessing, and implementing robust compliance policies from scratch.
  • Regulatory Mapping & Scanning: Driving high-quality regulatory mapping and horizon scanning across relevant geographies to anticipate framework changes.
  • Training & Competency: Designing and ensuring a robust, company-wide prudential training program to upskill the business.

Requirements

We’re looking for a highly strategic compliance expert who understands the vital interplay between prudential risk, compliance risk, and overarching business goals.

The Experience

  • 7+ years in a regulatory compliance role within a consultancy, financial regulator, or fast-paced compliance function.

The Domain Expertise

  • Deep expertise in prudential-related obligations, including:
    • DORA
    • Outsourcing compliance
    • PRA Handbook
    • Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)
    • Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR)

The Toolkit

  • Proven experience conducting thorough regulatory gap analyses and building/implementing institutional policies from the ground up.

Execution Skills

  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously.
  • An aptitude for meeting tight deadlines.
