Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager – Wealth & Trading

Location: UK – Remote

We are looking for a sharp, proactive Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager to oversee the regulatory frameworks powering our Wealth & Trading (W&T) features. If you are ready to champion consumer protection, build robust frameworks from scratch, and scale smart compliance solutions in a fast-moving digital environment, let’s get in touch.


What you’ll be doing 🎯

As a vital piece of our second line of defense (2LoD), you will ensure our consumer protection practices are watertight while supporting product innovation. Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Product Oversight: Providing compliance oversight on W&T products and their operational controls across the business.
  • Regulatory Mapping: Driving high-quality regulatory mapping and horizon scanning across relevant geographies to anticipate changes.
  • Policy Crafting: Challenging, assessing, and implementing robust compliance policies from scratch.
  • 1LoD Partnership: Reviewing 1LoD compliance approvals for W&T features, offering constructive, high-impact feedback.
  • Training & Competency: Designing and implementing a robust, company-wide training program tailored to W&T operations.
  • Root-Cause Analysis: Providing 2LoD oversight on W&T customer complaints, diving deep into data to drive better user outcomes.

What you’ll need to succeed 🛠️

We are looking for a data-minded compliance expert who understands that compliance risk and business risk go hand-in-hand.

  • The Experience: 7+ years in a regulatory compliance role within a consultancy, financial regulator, or fast-paced compliance function.
  • The Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of W&T obligations, specifically MiFID, EMIR, and PROD.
  • The Toolkit: Proven experience conducting thorough regulatory gap analyses and building/implementing policies from the ground up.
  • The Mindset: A solid understanding of how compliance strategy impacts overall business goals.
  • Execution Skills: The ability to stay calm under pressure, manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously, and hit tight deadlines.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate positively with internal teams and external regulators alike.
