Job title: Regulatory Data Administrator
Location: Farringdon, Slough, or Paddington (your choice)
Hybrid: You will work in the office 2–3 days a week for the first 3 weeks to complete your training. Once trained, you will need to go to the office approximately once a month.
Contract length: 9 months
Rate: £128 - £260 per day PAYE (depending on experience)
Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for a Regulatory Data Administrator to work in the R&D - Scientific & Regulatory Affairs area at Mars.
This business area translates complex nutrition science and regulations into actionable product developments, impacting millions of consumers globally.
The Role:
We are seeking an accurate, detail-oriented Regulatory Data Administrator to join our Scientific & Regulatory Affairs (SRA) team for a 9-month contract. This role is highly task-focused, providing core administrative support across three specific key projects. You will not be required to attend daily meetings or make strategic decisions; instead, your focus will be on executing data transfers, auditing compliance documentation, and coordinating artwork workflows.
Full training and support will be provided directly by the manager upon starting.

Responsibilities:
- The 3 Key Projects You Will Support
- Artwork Project Management: Coordinating a significant volume of artwork changes (potentially up to 300) with an external agency. You will send information to the agency, own the data input, and perform highly meticulous checks on every single line of text and data to pick up errors before final sign-off.
- Raw Materials Compliance Audit: Conducting a thorough audit of raw material documentation (some dating back to 2021) using a strict checklist to find data gaps and actively close them.
- Database Migration: Transferring and updating old project information and documentation gaps into a newly upgraded database. You will also provide general SRA administrative support, including SharePoint updates and improvements.
Key Skills and experience required:
The successful candidate will have proven work experience in administrative or data-heavy positions and possess a strong work ethic.
- Experience: Previous professional experience handling data, general administration, or task/project management. You must be able to clearly articulate how you prioritize and manage your workload.
- Attention to Detail: Solid, exceptional attention to detail is critical. You must be someone who genuinely enjoys working with data and takes pride in zero-error accuracy.
- Communication & Confidence: Strong communication skills. You must be collaborative, open, and possess the courage to ask for help immediately whenever you are stuck.
- Education & Qualifications: A qualification above GCSE level is required (e.g., Level 3 A-Level/BTech, Level 4 National Certificate, or Level 5 Foundation Degree). A qualification in Food Science, Nutrition, Quality & Food Safety, or Product Development is considered a "nice-to-have" but is not mandatory.
- Technical Skills: Good computer skills, including experience with data management systems and SharePoint.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, action-oriented, trustworthy, and possessing the ambition to learn and develop professionally.
