Discover more about our culture and approach here: https://nadara.com/living-the-company/ Job Description Summary: The Regulatory Engagement & Advocacy Manager will lead the company’s regulatory positioning and external engagement activities primarily in the UK, with selective exposure to France. The role sits at the intersection of policy, market design and commercial strategy, ensuring that regulatory developments are anticipated, shaped where possible, and effectively translated into actionable insights for the business. The position will play a key role in supporting the company’s growth in the UK renewables market, while contributing to broader European coordination where relevant. Job Description: Key responsibilities Regulatory monitoring & analysis (UK focus) Track, analyse and interpret regulatory and policy developments in the UK power market (incl. CfDs, market design, grid/connection reform, PPAs) Monitor relevant developments in France as a secondary scope Translate regulatory changes into clear business impacts, risks and opportunities Provide timely, decision-oriented insights to senior management Advocacy & institutional engagement Develop and execute advocacy strategies in the UK aligned with business priorities Build and maintain relationships with key UK stakeholders (government, regulators, policymakers) Support senior leadership engagement with institutions Contribute selectively to engagement in France when relevant Industry associations & positioning Represent the company in key UK industry associations and working groups Contribute to consultation responses and position papers Ensure consistency of messaging and alignment with company strategy Provide support on French associations where needed Strategic support to the business Partner closely with commercial, origination and development teams in the UK Support participation in CfD rounds and PPA strategy Provide regulatory input into investment decisions and market positioning Contribute to broader European topics where relevant Team management Manage and develop one Regulatory Specialist Ensure prioritisation, quality of outputs and alignment with team objectives Key Requirements >5 years of experience in regulatory affairs, public affairs or energy policy Strong knowledge of the UK power market is essential Exposure to France or other European markets is a plus, but not required Background in renewables, utilities, IPPs, advisory or industry associations Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex regulation into business implications Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to engage effectively with both internal and external senior stakeholders Strong writing skills (briefings, consultation responses, executive summaries) Proactive, pragmatic and business-oriented mindset Ability to operate with autonomy and prioritise effectively Collaborative approach and strong team player Comfortable working in an international environment Pay and benefits At Nadara, we’re committed to creating an environment where our people feel valued, supported and empowered to grow.
