An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Regulatory Reporting Accountant to join the finance team of a leading Lloyd’s market insurer on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an ideal role for someone with strong Lloyd’s regulatory reporting experience who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, taking ownership of key reporting deliverables, and driving improvements to processes and controls. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of regulatory returns while supporting ongoing transformation and data initiatives within the finance function.

The Role

Reporting into the Regulatory Reporting team, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality Lloyd’s regulatory returns, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and contributing to the continuous enhancement of reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparing and submitting Lloyd’s regulatory returns accurately and within reporting deadlines
  • Ensuring all regulatory submissions comply with Lloyd’s reporting requirements
  • Performing reconciliations, analytical reviews and maintaining robust financial controls
  • Investigating and explaining movements within financial reporting
  • Working closely with Finance, FP&A, Actuarial and Operations teams to gather data and resolve reporting queries
  • Contributing to finance transformation projects and continuous process improvement

About You

You’ll be a qualified accountant with recent Lloyd’s market experience and a strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements. You’re comfortable working with large volumes of data, thrive in a deadline-driven environment and enjoy identifying opportunities to improve processes.

You’ll ideally have:

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent accounting qualification
  • Recent experience preparing Lloyd’s regulatory returns
  • A strong understanding of Lloyd’s reporting requirements
