Regulatory Solicitor (Associate / Senior Associate), 5+ PQE : Warwickshire : Leading National Law Firm

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Regulatory Solicitor to join the highly regarded Insurance, Risk and Regulatory team of a leading national law firm. With a strong reputation for advising businesses and individuals on complex regulatory matters, this is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile, often business-critical cases while enjoying genuine career progression within a supportive and collaborative team.

The Role

Working as part of an established national regulatory practice, you will advise clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious regulatory matters. Your caseload will include investigations, prosecutions, compliance advice, and crisis management across a variety of sectors. The work is varied, intellectually stimulating, and frequently involves advising clients during some of the most challenging situations they face.

Your Workload Will Include

  • Advising clients in investigations and prosecutions brought by the HSE, Police, Environment Agency, Local Authorities, Fire Authorities, CQC, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Health and safety matters, including corporate manslaughter, gross negligence manslaughter, and regulatory offences.
  • Fire safety compliance, investigations, and prosecutions.
  • Environmental, food safety, and consumer product regulation.
  • Supporting clients through inquests, public inquiries, and internal investigations.
  • Advising businesses on regulatory compliance, risk management, and enforcement matters.
  • Building strong client relationships, contributing to business development initiatives, and mentoring junior lawyers within the team.

The Candidate

Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors or Barristers with at least 5 years PQE and a strong background in regulatory law. You will have experience handling complex regulatory investigations and prosecutions and be confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision.

Advocacy experience within the Magistrates or Crown Court would be highly desirable, along with excellent communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
