Role Profile

We are seeking a sharp, proactive Regulatory Specialist to join our Product Stewardship team, ensuring our global chemical portfolio remains fully compliant. This role is ideal if you thrive in solving complex regulatory challenges, improving processes, and collaborating across technical teams. You’ll play a central role in our compliance strategy.

What You’ll Do

  • Proactively identify and improve safety-related issues using established tools and systems
  • Deliver defined regulatory and product compliance work packages for key projects
  • Build expertise in global chemical regulations and support colleagues with clear, informed insights
  • Analyse regulatory data to drive business decisions
  • Communicate findings and requirements clearly and confidently to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with technical, production, and commercial teams to foster a strong compliance culture
  • Review raw material Safety Data Sheets (SDS), classifications, and supplier information
  • Maintain accurate records in SAP S/4HANA EHS for substances, raw materials, and products
  • Classify materials/products under regional GHS regulations
  • Develop compliant safety data sheets, labels, and documentation
  • Ensure database accuracy, updating information throughout the supply chain
  • Support continuous improvement by documenting and refining processes

Training will be provided to equip you for all responsibilities.


What You Bring

  • Degree in Chemistry or related field (or regulatory/SHE experience) to validate technical competence
  • Minimum 2 years in a regulatory role to demonstrate hands-on experience
  • Knowledge of GHS classification/labelling (desirable; training provided)
  • SAP EHS experience is an advantage (preferred but not mandatory)

Location & Working Pattern

This role is based at the Harlow site, where a collaborative team culture is essential. Employees are expected to be on-site at least four days per week.
