JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a Regulatory Specialist to join our team to manage compliance of product information that meet regulations both locally and internationally.

As a valued member of our Sensient global Regulatory team, the Regulatory Specialist assures the compliance of our raw materials and products with appropriate regulations, provides various data, information and conformity declaration, and serves as a regulatory resource to internal and external customers. Maintains technical databases related to raw materials, understands, respects, and acts ethically when dealing with matters related to regulatory compliance. In this responsible position you are working closely with national and international colleagues.

What you will do

  • Support internal customers (including Regulatory Finished Goods, Procurement, Research & Development, Quality Assurance) by interpreting regulations, gathering information to address external customer needs and providing guidance to internal customers by accurately maintaining raw materials information
  • Implementation of new national and international regulations within the team and for the organisation
  • Participate in national and international project teams and conduct regulatory presentations to inform, train and advise internal customers on regulatory topics
  • Utilize authorized Sensient Technologies systems (e.g. PLM) for maximum efficiency and consistency
  • Develop relationships inside and outside the organization to enhance personal and company effectiveness

What you will bring

  • A university degree in chemistry, food technology or a similar studies
  • Intermediate level of regulatory experience in the food ingredients industry, within food flavors would be a distinct advantage
  • Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external contacts
  • Ability to gain and apply extensive knowledge of regional and international food regulations and their application. Must be able to develop the ability to review, interpret and summarize technical information
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; experience in dealing with a computerized inventory management program (PLM) is beneficial
  • Professional English language skills (written and verbal skills). Other additional language proficiencies are an advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks in an effective manner and attention to detail is essential
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%
