About The Role
As a Regulatory Training Advisor within the XLoS Regulatory Reporting team, you will serve as a key escalation point and subject matter expert for regulatory and mandatory training matters, providing expert advice and guidance on complex training-related queries, including exceptions and breaches. Your role will focus on thorough investigation, sound judgement, and recommending effective solutions, shifting from general execution to strategic advisory. You will proactively validate data to prevent issues, provide expert guidance on Audit Risk and Quality (ARQ) matters, and act as a trusted partner driving quality and compliance through enhanced tutor sourcing and delivery. This is a high-impact role demanding resilience, strong relationship management, and influencing skills to advise the business effectively.
What Your Days Will Look Like
Case Management & Investigation
- Act as the primary escalation handler for training breaches, exceptions, and anomalies, conducting detailed root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions.
- Monitor and report trends to the Training Manager to support stakeholder discussions and QMSE reporting.

Compliance & Advisory Expertise
- Maintain expert knowledge of ARQ requirements and XLoS mandatory training programmes to provide accurate, specialist guidance on compliance and regulatory reporting, ensuring consistent adherence across business units.
Data Quality & Governance
- Proactively validate training target audiences to prevent breaches, working closely with Reporting Officers to ensure governance standards, high data quality, and effective end-to-end compliance processes.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Partner with Course Managers to stay current on curricula and requirements, while driving improvements in tutor sourcing, accreditation, and engagement.
- Support change initiatives through automation and maintain robust documentation to ensure audit readiness and knowledge continuity.
