- Retrofit and refurbishment projects
- Maintenance work for homes and public areas

About the Role
United Infrastructure is seeking an experienced and proactive Reinstatement Manager to oversee and drive the quality of reinstatement works across our capital delivery projects.
This critical role ensures all reinstatement activities meet stringent standards, comply with regulations, and are delivered safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will collaborate with delivery teams, highway authorities, and inspectors to maintain excellence and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct live quality audits of reinstatement works across active sites
- Perform site safety audits to ensure adherence to HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment & Quality) standards
- Carry out post-reinstatement inspections to assess quality and defects
- Monitor and review Street Manager reports, escalating new defects promptly
- Ensure full compliance with:
- NRSWA (New Roads and Street Works Act)
- SROH (Specification for the Reinstatement of Openings in Highways)
- Undertake joint site walks with highway inspectors, addressing concerns in real time
- Manage and track outstanding defects, ensuring timely resolution and closure
- Provide detailed reports on reinstatement performance, risks, and trends
- Work collaboratively with project teams to drive continuous improvement
- Support pre-construction planning by identifying risks and advising on best practice
Key Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in reinstatement, highways, or utilities environments
- Strong working knowledge of:
- NRSWA
- SROH
- Experience conducting quality and safety audits
- Ability to interpret Street Manager data and manage defect workflows
- Excellent stakeholder management skills—particularly when engaging with local authorities and highway inspectors
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills for handling multiple projects
- High attention to detail, with a commitment to quality standards

Qualifications & Certifications
- NRSWA Supervisor accreditation (essential)
- Relevant HSEQ, construction, or infrastructure qualifications (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
