About the Role – Reinstatement Operative

We are seeking a highly motivated reinstatements operative to join our established reinstatements team, based in Preston/Stockport. You will be working on site, as part of a team working on a variety of wastewater contracts across the North West.

Experience within tarmac reinstatements, modular and rigid surfaces work would be an advantage. We are looking for individual who take pride in their work to get it right first time and be the the highest standard of quality.

We are looking for someone that is skilled in laying Flags, Kerbstones, Block paving, concreting etc but if any applicants are skilled in both fields (Blacktop and White top) then this would be an added bonus.

You will provide technical expertise, experience, and work within a team to deliver a first-class service to our customers. Possession of good communication skills and having an enthusiastic approach to people is a must.

Location: Leyland and Stockport
Salary: £15 - £17 per hour, dependent on experience
Hours of Work: Full time, 50 hours per week

Knowledge, experience, and qualifications required:

  • Full UK driving licence, HGV class 2 (desirable)
  • Civils wastewater experience desirable, but not essential.
  • NRSWA Street works qualification - desirable but not essential
  • Reinstatement skills.
  • Knowledge of utility excavations.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Able to work under own initiative.
  • Good housekeeping and time management.
