£53,626.65 per annum
Full-Time, Permanent
Home-based in England (with travel required within area and nationally where needed)

Skills for Care is the strategic workforce development and planning body for adult social care in England. We collaborate with employers, Government, and partners to:
- Ensure social care has the right people, skills, and support
- Deliver highest quality care and support now and in the future
- Respond to emerging trends using data and evidence for widescale change
- Provide best practice, tools, resources, and intelligence for workforce recruitment, capabilities, and culture
A priority is improving access to quality learning and development in the sector. This role expands Quality Assured Care Learning Service (QACLS) activities to grow insightful, cooperative relationships with training providers.
About the Role
We are seeking a Relationships and Engagement Lead to:
- Drive innovation and improvement in external-facing activities
- Build and develop stakeholder relationships with quality assured training providers
- Support service improvement through effective engagement and influencing

Key Responsibilities
- Leverage expertise in:
- Adult social care
- Training and development
- OR sector-adjacent roles
- Apply skills to:
- Understand the current training market
- Identify risks and opportunities
- Implement effective engagement strategies
- Manage relationships with diverse stakeholders:
- Build, sustain, and navigate complex discussions
- Present as a charismatic and trusted advertiser
- Use sector credibility to enhance influence
- Support delivery of Quality Assurance Services
- Contribute to wider organisational goals to drive positive change across social care sector
Requirements & Qualities
We are looking for candidates with:
- Proven track record in managing stakeholder relationships
- Ability to negotiate and engage with diverse groups
- Experience influencing or driving improvement in a challenging environment
- Comfortable presenting, presenting a charismatic, influential persona
- Creativity and innovation in solving sector challenges
- Sector-specific knowledge in adult social care, training, or development
