Relationship Development Lead | £30,000 base, £46,000-£52,000 OTE

This is a phone-based business development role, and it's warm calling: every call is to an existing client, backed by a genuine introduction from a relationship that already exists.

We're saying that in the first line because too many sales adverts hide what the job really is. If you enjoy speaking to business owners all day, opening conversations and creating opportunities, you'll probably love this role. If not, that's absolutely fine, but this won't be the right fit.

What You'll Do:

  • Call existing clients, always with a warm introduction and a genuine referral, to discuss their growth plans.
  • Book business owners into a structured discovery session where one of our directors explores their plans and identifies where we can add value.
  • Identify wider commercial opportunities that support the business's growth plans.
  • Build relationships with business owners, uncover opportunities and keep accurate records of every interaction.

You'll be working from warm, long-established client lists. This isn't calling random companies from purchased databases. It is a phone role built on high-quality conversations, where consistency wins.

  • Can quickly build credibility with business owners and senior leaders.
  • Understands that consistent activity creates consistent results.
  • Keeps accurate notes, follows up professionally and works with discipline.

Previous outbound sales, business development, recruitment or telesales experience would be advantageous, but attitude, resilience and communication skills matter most.

What's in it for you:

  • £30,000 base salary with uncapped commission. Typical first-year earnings of £46,000 to £52,000 at plan.
