Relationship Director – Real Estate Finance (Origination)

Growth locations available across London, Midlands, South West and the North.

I'm currently working on behalf of a highly ambitious and fast-growing specialist lender that has significantly expanded its lending activity over the past 12 months and is continuing to invest in its Real Estate Finance team.

We're looking to speak with experienced Real Estate Finance professionals who can originate, structure and execute transactions across Commercial Investment, Residential Investment lending and Development Finance.

This is a true front-end origination role, offering the opportunity to take ownership of broker and introducer relationships, assess opportunities from initial enquiry through to credit approval, and play a key role in the lender's continued growth strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing relationships with brokers and introducers across your region to generate new lending opportunities.
  • Identifying, assessing and structuring transactions across a broad Real Estate Finance product suite.
  • Preparing and presenting high-quality credit papers for approval.
  • Managing transactions through due diligence, sanction and completion stages.
  • Acting as a trusted adviser to brokers, providing market insight and product expertise.
  • Supporting the lender's growth ambitions through proactive business development activity and market engagement.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven track record in Real Estate Finance origination within a bank, challenger bank, specialist lender or debt fund.
  • Strong intermediary network and ability to generate new business opportunities.
  • Experience across Development Finance, Commercial Mortgages and/or Residential Investment lending.
  • Ability to structure transactions and present credit proposals confidently.
  • Commercial mindset with strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
