About the Role
Angove Partners is partnering with a leading insurance broker in London, seeking a Private Equity Senior Relationship Manager to support their ambitious growth strategy.
This position involves acting as a strategic partner to Private Equity (PE) clients, overseeing relationships across funds and their portfolio companies.
The role focuses on:
- Deep discovery
- Structured account planning
- Proactive engagement to anticipate client needs
- Tailored insurance solutions
Key Responsibilities
Market & Deal Analysis
- Research PE fund strategies, market trends, and deal flow
- Track fund and portfolio company (PortCo) activity, including:
- Acquisitions
- Exits
- Restructurings

Account Strategy & Delivery
- Build and maintain bespoke annual account plans for each fund, covering:
- Coverage strategy
- Risk pipeline
- Claims management
- KPIs and renewal tracking
Relationship Ownership & Expansion
- Act as the primary relationship owner and internal advocate for assigned PE funds
- Initiate new relationships and expand existing ones
- Collaborate with Investment Due Diligence (IDD) and PortCo Project Managers on:
- M&A transactions
- Insurance placements

Requirements
To apply for this role, you must have:
- At least 8 years' experience in Insurance
- Full sales cycle experience, including deal closing
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
