We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Relationship Manager, SME Business Banking.
You’ll provide dedicated customer service to a portfolio of clients with accountability for sales, service, risk and operational delivery.

- Conduct face to face meetings with SME clients, with an average of 50-65 clients in portfolio
- Manage portfolio values of approximately £2.5m and SME clients with a £2-15m turnover
- Drive revenue growth through understanding customer needs and by adopting a needs-based approach which engages clients and increases new business
- Grow the business sustainably, by identifying opportunities to expand a portfolio and broadening client relationships by leveraging HSBC's extensive network
- Build a strong understanding of the client's business and industry to promote insights, enrich client conversations and deliver fair outcomes
- Have a comprehensive understanding of the client through pro-active credit risk assessments and customer due diligence reviews
Requirements
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Experience of working in relevant environments, i.e. Business/Corporate Banking, Financial Services
- Proven ability in identifying and meeting customer needs
- Experience of leading and delivering excellent customer service and proactively looking for innovative ways to improve this service
- Experience of building effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same
- Comprehensive understanding of risk management and proven experience of ensuring own/others' compliance with relevant regulatory processes

This is a hybrid role based in the West Midlands Region covering Solihull, Coventry & Warwickshire. A full UK driving licence is essential as travel is expected.
