Relationship Manager – SME Business Banking (Norfolk & Suffolk)
Relationship Manager (SME Business Banking)
We are looking for an experienced Relationship Manager to join our SME Business Banking team, supporting businesses across Norfolk and Suffolk.
In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of established SME clients with turnovers between £2 million and £15 million, helping them achieve their business goals while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of 50–70 SME clients, identifying opportunities for growth and strengthening existing relationships.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-term client partnerships.
- Generate new business and develop referral opportunities through local networks.
- Represent the business within the local community and build relationships with professional introducers.
- Work with specialist product teams to provide tailored banking solutions.
- Ensure all activities comply with credit, regulatory and risk management requirements.

About You
You'll have:
- Experience in Business Banking, Corporate Banking or Financial Services.
- A strong background in relationship or client management.
- Proven business development and account growth experience.
- Commercial lending knowledge.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A good understanding of risk management.
- A full UK driving licence, as travel across Norfolk and Suffolk is required.
