Relationship & Sex Education (RSE) Educator
Spectrum Community Health CIC is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated RSE Educator to join our innovative team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about education, youth work, health promotion and supporting young people to thrive.
Working alongside our RSE Co-ordinator, you will deliver engaging, evidence-based RSE sessions in schools across Barnsley. You will:
- Deliver lessons and small-group sessions
- Provide targeted interventions
- Support young people aged 11–18 to build confidence, resilience, recognise risk and develop healthy relationships
You Will Help Deliver Programmes That
- Reduce sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
- Prevent underage conceptions
- Raise awareness of substance misuse
- Improve emotional wellbeing
- Tackle health inequalities
Every session has the potential to positively influence a young person's future.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience working with young people
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Creativity, enthusiasm and drive
- An interest in education, youth work, public health, safeguarding or community engagement
