Reliability Engineer (Electrical) - Cardiff - 12 Month Contract

Join a rapidly expanding global data centre operator. Supported by significant investment and partnered with some of the most innovative names in tech, this company is growing and looking for an experienced Reliability Engineer to work based in London.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the transition of electrical systems from commissioning into stable operations.
  • Validate MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, and protection schemes for reliability.
  • Develop and improve electrical maintenance strategies to minimise downtime.
  • Provide remote and on-site technical support during planned works and incidents.
  • Analyse asset performance, failures, and maintenance data to drive improvements.

What you’ll need:

  • Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience.
  • Background in data centres, critical facilities, or high-availability electrical systems.
  • Strong understanding of MV/LV power, UPS, generators, and protection coordination.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and support multiple sites across EMEA.
