Reliability Engineer
Reliability Engineer (Electrical) – 12 Month Contract
Location: Cardiff (Operating from London)
Join a rapidly expanding global data centre operator, backed by significant investment and partnerships with top tech innovators. We’re scaling rapidly and seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to support our team.
About the Role
Support the transition of electrical systems from commissioning into stable operations.
Responsibilities
- Validate MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, and protection schemes for improved reliability.
- Develop and refine electrical maintenance strategies to minimise downtime.
- Provide remote and on-site technical support during planned works and incidents.
- Analyse asset performance, failures, and maintenance data to drive operational improvements.

Requirements
- Electrical Engineering degree (or equivalent technical experience).
- Background in data centres, critical facilities, or high-availability electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of:
- MV/LV power distribution
- UPS systems
- Generators
- Protection coordination
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while supporting operations across EMEA.
