  • Successful candidates will then be invited to share a presentation at a final face to face interview.

The Recipe (About the Role)

Take the reins of strategic direction as you guide the Reliability team, fully accountable for advocating a culture of continuous improvement in asset care and reliability performance. Your mission spans all Weetabix sites, ensuring engineering insights drive progress.

We’re looking for a Reliability & Compliance expert who brings deep subject matter expertise and can drive best practice across our operations.

As the key guide for the Weetabix Reliability function, you will embody expertise in Asset Care across our Burton Latimer, Corby, and Deeside locations. You'll create a seamless, company-wide approach to enhance equipment reliability and performance, uniting our efforts for greater success.

  • Shape and progress the asset reliability and asset care strategy to enhance equipment performance and lifecycle outcomes
  • Deliver engineering technology solutions aligned to Information Technology (IT), Operational Technology (OT), and automation goals
  • Assist the delivery of capital and operational projects, ensuring governance and reliability focus
  • Maintain an obsolescence strategy to keep assets compliant, assisted, and future-fit
  • Own statutory compliance, ensuring adherence to key regulations (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER), Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (PSSR), Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER), Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV)
  • Optimise the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system to drive data quality, planning, and performance insights
  • Embed consistent maintenance planning, shutdown processes, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to drive sustainable improvements
  • Set reliability standards and build capability across teams (including Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM), and Early Equipment Management (EEM)

The Ingredients (What we need from you)

Key Know How:

  • Demonstrate subject-matter expertise in reliability and compliance, with the ability to influence and guide others
  • Owns reliability standards for Burton Latimer, Corby, and Deeside sites, influencing Engineering Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent practices and governance
  • Experience owning, coaching or influencing others, whether through direct management or people-focused working
  • Creates a culture of proactive asset management, risk awareness, and continuous improvement ensuring that safety, compliance, and engineering excellence are embedded into everyday evaluation and operational practices
