Job Description: Dual Role - 36 Hour Relief Control Room Operator/Security Officer

Hours: 36 Hours a week, Relief Officer - Monday to Sunday - Days and Nights (07:00-19:00, 19:00-07:00)

Hourly Rate: £13.45

About The Role:

  • Dual officer role (Control Room Operator/Security Officer)
  • Delivering excellent customer service
  • Good level of concentration and coordinating
  • Good communication skills and effective report writing capabilities
  • Physical protection of the premises from any external or internal threats and preservation of life
  • Prevention of loss of assets, critical technology, sensitive information, or reputational damage
  • Thorough knowledge of the client to minimize impact to business areas, escalate where appropriate, and understanding of critical systems
  • Oversee perimeter access through reception for staff, tenants, contractors, and visitors
  • Undertaking patrolling, searching, and emergency response procedures
  • Monitor access and egress of personnel and guests and respond to breaches
  • Maintain clear and legible records and logbook
  • Adhere to health & safety at all times
  • Any other duties deemed necessary
  • Incident management

About You:

  • Ability to demonstrate that you can problem-solve under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily workload
  • Passionate about delivering excellent service
  • Willing to embrace a new and exciting challenge
  • Valid SIA DS Licence & CCTV Licence
  • Front of house experience
  • Control Room experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Adhere to health & safety at all times
  • Any other duties deemed necessary
