The Role

As a Relief Chef, you will work across multiple Buzzworks venues, supporting kitchen teams where additional resource is required. This may include holiday cover, supporting new openings, assisting during busy trading periods, or helping kitchens maintain consistency and standards.

Reporting directly to the Operations Chef, you'll quickly adapt to different teams and environments while delivering great food and supporting smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef who enjoys variety, thrives in different environments and takes pride in maintaining high standards wherever they work.

You Will

  • Support kitchen teams during service across multiple venues
  • Prepare and deliver dishes to Buzzworks food specifications
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency and presentation
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures
  • Assist with stock management, waste control and GP performance
  • Support kitchen organisation and preparation for service
  • Adapt quickly to different menus, teams and kitchen environments
  • Provide regular feedback and updates to the Operations Chef

We're Looking For

  • Experience at Sous Chef level or above
  • A strong understanding of kitchen operations and service standards
  • The ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in different venues
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • A positive, flexible approach and willingness to travel
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential
  • Passion for quality food and delivering great guest experiences
