Salary: £32,000 per annum + overtime available
🚗 Essential: Must have a car and be able to drive (mobile role)

Job Description
You will be responsible for mastering the culinary, operational, and managerial aspects of our catering operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Menu Planning & Execution
- Design menus in line with the location’s style and customer preferences, ensuring consistency in presentation.
- Oversee food preparation to maintain high-quality standards, monitoring wastage and portion control.
- Inventory & Cost Control
- Manage stock levels and ordering processes to maintain efficiency.
- Customer Relations
- Engage with customers to understand preferences and address any requirements or concerns.
- Actively seek feedback to enhance service.
- Health & Safety Compliance
- Support the Head Chef in maintaining health and safety standards in alignment with protocols/policies.
- Foster a culture where safety remains embedded in daily operations.
- Budget & Financial Management
- Develop and manage kitchen budgets, report on financial performance, and identify cost-saving measures without sacrificing quality.
- Menu Development & Innovation
- Stay abreast of culinary trends and creatively introduce new ideas to menus.
- Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain meticulous records of inventory, orders, preparation processes, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements
Experience & Skills
- Proven track record as a Chef Manager (preferable within contract catering).
- Passionate culinary creativity and sound technical expertise.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Competency in food cost management.
- Knowledge of food safety and health & safety regulations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, adaptive environment.

About Employment
📅 (Permanent Role, 40 hours/week) Base Salary: Up to £32,000
