Relief Delivery Driver – Cheltenham Depot
Location: Cheltenham

Cotteswold Dairy's Cheltenham Depot are expanding and are seeking a confident, reliable, and motivated Delivery Driver to join their team as a relief driver.
About the Role This position is a full-time role within the depot covering multiple routes, supporting high-intensity, multi-drop milk deliveries. You will be the friendly face of the business, delivering fresh dairy products directly to customers' doors.
The role sees the Relief Delivery Driver:
- Learn and cover a variety of milk rounds in both rural and urban areas
- Support the depot manager with planned holidays, long-term absence, and general operational needs
- Work flexible hours (required for 4 nights per week, minimum 38 hours), with typical start times on the doorstep

Responsibilities As a Relief Delivery Driver, you’ll:
- Deliver milk and dairy products on time and in full to customers’ doorsteps
- Use handheld technology to process orders, update customer accounts, and manage payments
- Load and unload your vehicle, ensuring accuracy and secure product transit
- Follow all food hygiene, health & safety, and security procedures
- Collect empty bottles, returns, and payments where necessary
- Maintain your vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition
- Assist with manual handling physically demanding activities
Work Schedule
- Early mornings and night shifts required
- Minimum 38 hours per week (flexibility needed)
- Covering multiple routes including rural and urban areas
Key Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (Category B car licence accepted)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Physically fit for manual handling in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with early start times and night shifts
- Reliable, with strong time management and attention to detail
- (Previous experience in delivery driving, milk delivery, or retail roles desirable but full training provided)
