Relief Dispenser
Relief Dispenser – Community Pharmacy Roles (London)
Hourly Rate: £13.92 – £16.64 (dependent on location)
About the Role
As a Relief Dispenser, you’ll play a vital role within our pharmacy team, supporting pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care. Based across selected London stores, you will:
- Support the safe and efficient dispensing of prescriptions
- Build strong relationships with patients by offering tailored healthcare advice
- Assist in managing pharmacy services and ensuring continuity of care
- Contribute to patient safety, adherence, and wellbeing within our stores
This opportunity is UK-based only. Applicants outside the UK will only be considered if they hold valid UK qualifications and Right to Work status.
Key Responsibilities

Prescription Dispensing & Compliance
- Safely order, label, dispense, and endorse prescriptions
- Ensure legal compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Manage prescription collection and repeated refusals

Patient Care & Advice
- Provide personalised medication guidance and refer urgent queries to the pharmacist
- Promote effective medication adherence to reduce waste and improve outcomes
- Engage with patients using advanced healthcare knowledge

Support Roles
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver seamless pharmacy services
- Embrace evolving technologies in pharmacy systems
- Maintain store SOP compliance and operational safety

Requirements
Essential
- Completed NVQ Level 2 Pharmacist Advisor (or equivalent UK qualification)
- Valid UK Right to Work (visa sponsorship unavailable)
- Ability to travel flexibly across assigned locations
Desirable
- Experience working within an UK community pharmacy
