Relief Dispenser – London (£13.92–£16.64 per hour)
The hourly rate for this role start at £13.92 and can rise to £16.64 across selected locations within London.
About The Opportunity
As a Relief Dispenser, you’ll play a key role across multiple stores within a defined geographical area, supporting the pharmacist and healthcare team to deliver safe and efficient pharmacy and healthcare services.
You’ll build strong relationships with patients by:
- Greeting and serving customers
- Safely dispensing prescriptions
- Advising on medicines and health wellness
- Empowering patients to make informed decisions about their care
This is a UK-based role only. Applications from outside the UK (or remote candidates) will not be considered unless the applicant can evidence current UK qualifications and their right to work.
Key Responsibilities
- Prescription dispensing, including:
- Ordering, labelling, and safely supplying medicines
- Endorsing, collecting, and managing prescriptions
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver £pharmacy services
- Advising patients on medicines and referring complex queries to the pharmacist
- Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure legal and safe dispensing
- Supporting patients with prescription repeats and medicine adherence
- Enhancing trust with the store team to ensure continuity of care
- Adapting to new technology and systems that improve dispensing efficiency

What You’ll Need to Know
Minimum Requirements
✔ Completed Pharmacy Advisor NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) ✔ Current and valid UK right to work (no sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa) ✔ Ability to travel flexibly across the assigned store locations
Bonus Experience
👍 Prior experience in community pharmacy (preferred but not essential)
