About Our Nursery – Hertford Hartham Park

Key Responsibilities

Core Duties

  • Assist in preparing and delivering educational activities for children.
  • Support team in maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Help children develop socially, emotionally, and physically through play-based learning.
  • Ensure welfare and safety of all children at all times.

(Note: Hourly rates differ above national minimum wage levels for candidates under 21.)


Ideal Candidate

Qualifications & Experience

  • No formal qualifications required, although prior experience in early years settings is useful.
  • A passionate interest in early childhood education.

Personal Attributes

  • Empathy and understanding – respecting children as individual learners.
  • Enthusiasm for engaging with kids and supporting their growth and development.
