About Our Nursery (Pershore – Birlingham Branch)

📍 Location: Rural setting near Pershore, with good access to Evesham, Tewkesbury and Worcester (though no direct bus routes). 🏫 Setup: A three-storey charm with 62 capacity, base rooms and an outdoor play space tailored for each age group. 👩‍👦 Team Size: Dedicated 22-strong team (full-time, part-time, and relief staff).

What You’ll Do as a Relief Early Years Educator

  • Plan & deliver engaging educational activities, aligned with the Bee Curious curriculum.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment – valuing diversity and individual needs.
  • Take on the role of Key Person – building trust with families and supporting children’s development.
  • Track progress through observations and continuous assessments.

Ideal Candidate

Requirements

📜 Level 2 Qualification in Early Years Education (mandatory) 👶 Experience working with children under 5 (Nursery Assistant, Early Years Practitioner, or similar preferred) 💬 Empathy & adaptability – Leadership is all about personal relationships and nurture 📝 Attention to organisation – Consistent documentation and maintaining confidentiality. Communication skills – Clear, engaging interactions with young children and families alike.

Note: Experience in a day nursery, primary school pre-school or childminding setting is ideal.
