Relief Pharmacist
Pharmacist – Leadership Role
What You’ll Be Doing
Our pharmacists make a real difference in the communities we support, delivering trusted care, advice, and services that put patients first. In this role, you’ll leverage your clinical expertise daily, collaborate with a brilliant team, and utilise our innovative tools and resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering NHS, locally commissioned, and private services using both:
- In-store visits
- Digital and remote tools
- Ensuring highest professional and legal standards for:
- Patient safety
- Pharmacy compliance
- Continuously monitoring, evaluating, and improving:
- Standards of care
- Safety protocols
- Partnering with the Store Manager to:
- Enhance the healthcare team’s capabilities
- Develop training and support structures
- Growing talent by:
- Coaching, mentoring, and supporting colleagues
- Cultivating a workforce that reflects the communities we serve
- Representing Boots as an authentic local presence:
- Community engagement
- Collaborations with healthcare professionals
Requirements
Essential (Must-Have Qualifications)
- Registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (e.g., GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
- Proven communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience leading patient and customer care in pharmacy settings
- Passion for delivering:
- Essential, advanced, and private healthcare services
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Engagement in coaching and mentoring
