Relief Pharmacist

Pharmacist Role – Community & NHS Pharmacy Care (Boots)

What You’ll Be Doing

Our pharmacists make a real difference in the communities we support, providing trusted care, advice, and services—putting patients first. In this role, you’ll apply your clinical expertise daily, surrounded by a supportive team and cutting-edge tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver NHS, locally commissioned, and private services via both in-store and digital channels
  • Ensure adherence to professional and legal standards for patient safety and pharmacy compliance
  • Continuously assess and enhance standards of care and safety
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop the wider healthcare team’s capabilities
  • Foster a coaching and talent-growth culture, mentoring colleagues to build a team reflective of local communities
  • Act as a community ambassador for Boots, engaging with healthcare professionals

What You’ll Need (Essential Requirements)

  • Registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, or PSI)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proven experience in leading patient and customer care within a pharmacy setting
  • Passion for delivering essential, advanced, and private services
  • A collaborative mindset, prioritising teamwork and guiding others
