About The Role

Weldricks Pharmacy have an opportunity for customer-focused individuals to join our growing team of Relief Pharmacy Assistants working across the region within our Relief Team. You’ll have core hours but there will be a degree of flexibility to cover for short notice absences.

This is a Permanent Position 24 Hours p/w – 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday – Wednesday with 30 minutes for lunch each day however some weekend cover may be required. We do ask for complete flexibility as the Relief Team are working between all 64 branches and often have rota’s changed at short notice.

You will require a full UK driving license and own car for this role.

We are passionate about our people and believe in career development. Many of our Pharmacy Assistants move on to become Supervisors, Accuracy Checking Assistants/Technicians, or Dispensing Technicians too!

What will you be doing?

Our Pharmacy Assistants are key in ensuring that Weldricks Pharmacy provide customers and patients with the highest quality care and advice within the communities our branches operate.

Joining our team, we’ll show you how to provide a high standard of customer care to maximize sales and increase items dispensed, whilst maintaining good stock control and merchandising.

Your work will be allocated weekly by rota by the Head of Operations at Branch Service Centre, determined by company needs. We expect all our relief staff to have flexibility to move between branches at short notice. Relief staff are required to assist in the dispensing of prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist as well as assisting with the retail aspect of the business; providing a first-class level of service to our loyal customers and patients. Relief staff are expected to complete reports weekly on the branches visited.

Full Training Will Be Provided, And We’ll Show You What It Takes To Excel As a Pharmacy Assistant. You Will Already Have The Following Qualities
