Join Jewish Care as a Relief/ Bank Registered General Nurse and make a real difference every day in the lives of older people within the Jewish community.

Our residential and nursing homes provide high-quality, person-centred care where dignity, compassion, and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for caring, skilled, and motivated Registered Nurses to join our dedicated multidisciplinary teams and help residents live well in later life.

About The Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to residents, supporting their physical, emotional, social, and psychological wellbeing. Working closely with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals, you will play a key role in ensuring outstanding standards of care and clinical practice.

You Will

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate person-centred care
  • Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, responding promptly to changes in condition
  • Safely administer and manage medication in line with NMC and regulatory guidelines
  • Lead, support, and motivate care teams during shifts
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
  • Promote safeguarding, dignity, and high-quality care standards
  • Support and develop colleagues through guidance, supervision, and training
  • Work collaboratively with families and external healthcare professionals

About You

We are looking for compassionate and professional nurses who are passionate about delivering exceptional care.

You Will Have

  • Current NMC registration as an RGN or RMN
  • A Nursing degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
  • At least 1 year’s nursing experience in a care or clinical setting
  • Experience leading or supporting care teams
  • Experience administering medication and maintaining accurate records
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A positive, flexible, and team-focused approach

Experience working with older people and individuals living with dementia is desirable.

Working Pattern

This role is for relief/ bank on a casual as and when required basis to cover absence.

Shifts Are

  • 7:45– 8:15 (12.5 hour shifts including breaks)
  • 11.5 hours paid due to 15-minute handover meetings
