About Finniescroft Farm

Tucked away near Lennoxtown with open countryside all around, Finniescroft Farm is more than just a home. It is a place where children and young people can feel part of something, with space to grow and people to support them. We create a homely, therapeutic environment where young people can build confidence, explore new opportunities, and enjoy being involved in the community around them.

About the Role

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with complex needs? We need a dedicated Children’s Worker to provide high-quality care in residential and community settings.

  • Work with a team to deliver tailored activities
  • Offer daily care for those with complex needs
  • Manage health and medication according to care plans

As a Keyworker, you'll:

  • Develop and review care plans
  • Support families
  • Record care details
  • Help children access services while promoting social inclusion

Qualifications and Experience

  • Ideally, you should have an SVQ3 in Social Services (Children & Young People) and HNC level or be committed to achieving these.
  • Experience with disabilities and understanding child development is desirable.

Essential Requirements

  • A genuine interest in working with children with disabilities
  • Respect for our ethos
  • PVG Scheme membership and necessary vetting checks are required.

Requirements

  • Must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks.
