Retail Security Officer – Various Shifts, £13.23 per hour
About the Role
Better places, thriving communities. Mitie seeks a Retail Security Officer to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a secure shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications: It is preferable that candidates hold a current SIA licence or SIA Certificates, but in some cases, Mitie can provide training.
Responsibilities
- Provide industry-leading customer service
- Deter violence and public order offences
- Patrol the store to maintain security
- Operate CCTV systems to reduce crime and prevent stock loss
- Collaborate with store management teams
- Partner with police and crime partnerships to foster strong working relationships and reduce in-store crime
- Wear Body-Worn CCTV to enhance colleague and customer safety
Requirements
- A full 5-year checkable employment/education history (failure to meet this may lead to offer withdrawal or termination)
