Relief Security Officer – DWP Contract (Glasgow Area)
£13.45 per hour | Glasgow & Surrounding Areas (Paisley, Clydebank and more)
📍 Relief Officer required to cover sites in and around Glasgow

What You'll Be Doing
As a Relief Security Officer, you'll be a visible and professional presence across DWP locations, helping to maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Covering security duties across multiple DWP sites
- Protecting staff, visitors and government property
- Responding calmly and effectively to incidents and emergencies
- Conducting patrols and identifying potential risks
- Completing reports and maintaining accurate records
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times
- Working independently and alongside emergency services when required

What We're Looking For
We're seeking reliable and professional individuals who can confidently work across a range of locations.
Essential Requirements
- Previous security experience
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to your own vehicle
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Flexible, professional and dependable attitude
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
