We’re Hiring: Relief Security Officer
📍 Location: Cardiff & Swansea, UK 💰 Pay: £13.40 per hour

About the Role
The Relief Security Officer provides flexible security services across multiple sites as needed, ensuring the protection of people, property, and assets. This role demands holding a valid SIA licence, upholding high standards of integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness at all times.
Candidates must demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and readiness to cover shifts at short notice while adapting quickly to shifting operational requirements.
Responsibilities
You’ll play a key role in maintaining safety within the organisation:

Monitor and protect the site through:
- Access control
- CCTV monitoring
- Alarm response
- Regular patrols

Maintain a safe environment by:
- Reporting hazards
- Following health and safety procedures
- Responding to incidents promptly and efficiently

Prevent loss, theft, and criminal activity:
- Reporting suspicious behavior
- Conducting essential security checks as required

Deliver excellent customer service to staff, visitors, and contractors.

Complete all reports, logs, and documentation accurately, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements
What we’re looking for:
We seek a self-driven, team-Oriented security professional who demonstrates initiative and a growth mindset. Ideally, you will have:

A valid SIA licence

Right to work in the UK

Age 18+

Five years of checkable work history, with no criminal convictions

Flexible availability, including day, night shifts, weekends

Ability to work independently or in a team

A valid UK Full Manual driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)

Previous security officer experience (desirable)

A First Aid qualification (preferred)
