We're looking for professional, reliable and customer-focused Relief Security Officers to support DWP (Job Centre) sites across the region.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll work across multiple locations, helping to create a safe, secure and welcoming environment for staff, visitors and members of the public.

About The Role
As a Relief Security Officer, you'll provide a visible and professional security presence across several DWP sites throughout the region.
You'll be responsible for carrying out patrols, responding to incidents, monitoring site activity and ensuring all security and Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.
This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, confident working independently and able to adapt quickly to different sites and situations.
What We're Looking For
Previous security experience Valid SIA Licence SC Clearance desirable Full UK driving licence Access to your own vehicle is essential Strong communication and customer service skills Professional, reliable and approachable attitude Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure Flexible approach to covering multiple locations
What You'll Be Doing
Maintaining a safe and secure environment across DWP sites Conducting patrols and routine security checks Responding professionally to incidents and emergencies Monitoring and reporting suspicious activity or potential risks Completing incident reports and maintaining accurate records Supporting staff and visitors with a professional and approachable manner Following all Assignment Instructions and site procedures Reporting Health & Safety concerns promptly and appropriately
