Creative Support is a not-for-profit organisation that delivers high-quality, person-centred social care services for adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and other support needs across Stockport and Greater Manchester.


Role Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic, resourceful, and energetic Relief Support Workers to join our friendly team in Stockport. This flexible role is ideal for those who want to fit shifts around personal commitments, study, or caring responsibilities.

As a Relief Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities and/or complex needs, helping them engage with everyday life and local communities. You will offer respectful personal care and assistance with daily living tasks, both at home and in the community, supporting individuals with varying health and behaviour needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver person-centred support to enhance independence and well-being.
  • Provide respectful personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
  • Facilitate participation in community and social activities.
  • Support individuals with health and behavioural needs, maintaining their health and safety.
  • Use personalised communication approaches to build trusting relationships with service users and their families.
  • Work flexibly to cover shifts at times that suit you, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins, using our electronic booking system (SONA).

Requirements

  • Essential: Previous experience of providing care and/or support.
  • Must be eliigible to work within the UK (no sponsorship for Skilled Worker Visas).
  • Demonstrates motivation, energy, and a commitment to person-centred care.

Full induction training will be provided.
