The Role
As a Religious Studies Teacher, you will:
Teach RS across KS3, KS4 and KS5 Deliver engaging lessons that develop critical thinking, debate, and analytical writing Prepare students for success in GCSE and A-Level examinations Use assessment data to track progress and implement targeted intervention Contribute to a high-performing department with a focus on academic outcomes
ECT Support & Development
Highly structured ECT programme with reduced timetable Weekly instructional coaching and mentoring Focus on exam delivery, essay writing, and subject mastery Opportunities to observe and learn from outstanding practitioners
What We’re Looking For
A Religious Studies graduate with QTS (or on track to achieve) Strong subject knowledge and a passion for philosophy, ethics, and religion A teacher who is ambitious, driven, and committed to excellence Ability to support students in developing high-level written responses A long-term commitment to a career in education
