Leading Creative and Production Direction for a 3D-Animated Streaming Series

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the creative and production direction for a proof-of-concept pitch deck for a 3D-animated streaming series set in a richly imagined steampunk world. You will collaborate closely with a small, independent writing team to bring original IP and characters from early development through to polished, presentation-ready deliverables. The position requires a visionary approach to world-building, character design, and storytelling, as well as the ability to manage production workflows and deliver high-quality materials within indie project constraints. Creative autonomy and sensitivity to the project's themes are essential, with the potential for ongoing collaboration if the initial project is successful.

Deliverables

  • Develop and refine the visual direction and style guide for the series, ensuring a cohesive steampunk aesthetic.
  • Oversee the creation of character designs, environment concepts, and key art for the pitch deck.
  • Manage the animation production pipeline, coordinating with artists and technical collaborators as needed.
  • Produce polished presentation materials, including animatics or short animated sequences, to support the pitch.
  • Collaborate with the writing team to ensure narrative and visual alignment throughout the project.
  • Deliver all assets on schedule and within the agreed budget parameters.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
