Remote Brand Designer – Contract
This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the creative direction of a new international swimwear and lifestyle brand dedicated to body positivity and confidence for women, with a special focus on curvy figures, larger busts, and lipoedema. You will collaborate closely on the development of the first collection, translating moodboards and branding ideas into modern, comfortable, and feminine swimwear designs. The project emphasizes innovative pattern and print development, tropical-inspired branding, and a long-term creative partnership to bring a unique vision to life.
Deliverables
Develop original sketches and concepts for bikini shorts, swim tops, and tankinis tailored for curvy and diverse body types Create patterns and prints that reflect a modern, feminine, and tropical aesthetic Collaborate on branding elements, including refinement of existing moodboards and logo concepts Present design iterations and incorporate feedback to achieve the desired look and feel Prepare production-ready files and technical specifications for manufacturers

Requirements
Proven experience in fashion or brand design, ideally with swimwear or women’s apparel Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in garment design, pattern creation, and print development Deep understanding of fit, comfort, and style considerations for curvy and diverse body types Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools Ability to interpret moodboards and branding concepts into cohesive visual identities Excellent communication skills and openness to creative collaboration Knowledge of current trends in swimwear, fabrics, and sustainable materials is a plus Availability for ongoing collaboration and timely delivery of project milestones
