Remote Centralised ADHD Pharmacist Prescriber

Please be aware although we are a remote organisation we do require candidates to reside in the UK. Please note we reserve the right to close early due to high volume of candidates. ProblemShared has created strong partnerships servicing several NHS, university, and insurer contracts to deliver high quality ADHD and Autism assessments as well as assessments for learning differences. We offer wrap-around care in the form of psychoeducation, prescribing, educational navigation, and therapy sessions all under one roof. About the role We are hiring for our new team of Remote Centralised ADHD Pharmacist Prescribers to join our dedicated prescribing team. You will be responsible for reviewing and processing prescriptions written by clinicians across the service, ensuring all prescriptions meet legal, clinical, and regulatory standards before being issued to pharmacies. This role is remote, focused, and detail-heavy — ideal for an experienced prescriber who enjoys structured, independent work. You will play a key part in maintaining patient safety and service efficiency, providing feedback on rejected prescriptions, querying discrepancies, and supporting the wider team in ensuring prescribing is smooth and consistent.

You will Prescription Review & Issuing Generate ADHD medication prescriptions as instructed by clinicians across the service Ensure all prescriptions meet clinical and legal standards before release Identify and correct errors, omissions, or discrepancies in scripts Liaise with pharmacies to resolve queries quickly and accurately Manage urgent prescription requests and reissues Clinical Query Resolution Communicate with prescribers to clarify treatment plans when needed Check and action rejected, flagged, or problematic prescriptions Ensure records are accurately updated to reflect prescription status Governance & Support Act as a central point of contact for prescribing-related queries Ensure all prescribing activity complies with clinical governance and safeguarding policies Participate in audit, QA, and continuous improvement of prescribing systems Flag repeat concerns or system issues to the Prescribing Clinical Lead Pharmacist What we are looking for Must haves Registered Pharmacist (UK-based, minimum 2 years post-registration) V300 Independent Prescribing qualification (6+ months post-qualifying) Experience prescribing ADHD medication Excellent working knowledge of legal and clinical prescribing standards High attention to detail, able to process large volumes of prescriptions consistently Comfortable working independently and remotely Excellent communication and record-keeping skills Nice to haves Prior experience in a centralised or remote prescribing role Experience liaising with online or distance pharmacies Understanding of ADHD medication pathways in the UK (NHS, RTC, private) Why Join Us?
