Remote Chemistry Expert (PhD)

Role: AI-Enhanced Chemistry Analyst
Role Overview
In this role, you will be working on projects to help fine-tune large language models (like ChatGPT) using your strong analytical and English comprehension skills.
The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Chemistry, comparable to the level required for PhD-level programs.
You should be able to:
- Break down complex chemistry problems into simple, clear explanations.
- Work efficiently.
The projects will also help you learn how to leverage AI to be a better analyst. This is your chance to future-proof your career in an AI-first world!

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
You would spend time on the following tasks:
- Creating and solving advanced chemistry problems, including those at the postgraduate level, and providing detailed explanations.
- Working with chemistry content consisting of:
- Text
- Images
- Chemical equations
- Diagrams
- Visual representations
Example of Daily Tasks:
- Analyze and explain the steps in complex organic reaction mechanisms, including:
- Textual explanations
- Annotated chemical structures
- Solve chemical equilibrium problems with:
- Visual representations of reaction progress
- Energy diagrams
- Textual and visual explanations
- Address problems involving:
- Stoichiometry
- Thermodynamics
- Organic chemistry
- Electrochemistry (Typical of Engineering Entrance Exam or Engineering College level questions)
All tasks involve a combination of text, visual aids, and diagrams.
Requirements
- Analytical Skills: Good research and analytical skills.
- Feedback Skills: Ability to provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations.
- Creative Thinking: Creative and lateral thinking abilities.
- Communication: Excellent structured communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting.
- Independence: Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
- Technical Setup: Desktop/Laptop with a good internet connection.

- Chemistry
- Chemical Engineering
- Biochemistry
- Related fields
