Remote Clinical / Counselling Psychologist – Young People
Fully remote – UK only
Permanent, Part-Time Opportunity
- Hours: 16 hours per week (2 days)
- Working Days & Times: Thursdays and Fridays (11:30–20:00)
- Salary: £63,100 per annum (prorated for part-time)

As a Remote Clinical / Counselling Psychologist within our Young People Talking Therapy Team, you’ll be instrumental in achieving this goal. Your role involves providing high-quality talking therapy to young people aged 11–17 through secure video consultations, making a tangible difference in their lives—and those of their families.
Operating remotely, you’ll collaborate with an experienced clinical team, benefit from regular supervision, and contribute to wellbeing initiatives to ensure more young people receive the support they need.
Key Responsibilities
Client Care & Therapy Delivery
- Provide safe, high-quality therapy to young people aged 11–17
- Conduct assessments and develop evidence-based care plans
- Deliver therapy sessions via secure video consultations
- Collaborate with families, schools, and support networks to share insights
Safeguarding & Coverage
- Follow safeguarding guidelines to protect young people
- Manage risk assessments and implement support plans when necessary
- Coordinate care across the therapy team for joined-up support
- Assist with referrals, guiding clients to appropriate services

Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- A doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (accredited by the British Psychological Society)
- HCPC registration (Health and Care Professions Council)
- Experience working with children and young people aged 11–17
- Minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience
- Confidence in delivering therapy remotely

- Excellent organisational skills to manage caseload efficiently
- Ability to work independently while remaining engaged with team processes
- Experience with IT systems and maintaining patient records
- Commitment to ongoing professional development

- Specialist therapy training
- Experience in corporate or private healthcare settings
