Remote Contentious Probate Solicitor

NQ–1+ Probate Contentious Solicitor – Nationally Recognised Firm

In a highly regarded practice specialising in contentious wills, trusts, and estates, there’s an exciting opportunity to master complex probate disputes with an experienced team that balances mentor feedback with genuine autonomy.


About the Role

This position is designed for NQ–1+ PQE solicitors with strong hands-on experience in contentious probate who are seeking their next career step within a nationally recognised firm. As part of a collaborative and supportive practice, you will:

  • Develop expertise in high-value, high-visibility media cases while advancing your career.
  • Work alongside experienced solicitors in a trusted contentious probate practice, known for meticulous thought leadership and client care.
  • Enjoy flexible work structures, including hybrid and autonomous arrangements, for a balanced, fulfilling career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently manage a diverse probate litigation caseload under supervision, refining your technical and strategic abilities.
  • Collaborate closely with the specialist team on high-stakes matters (high-value investigations to second tier High Court claims).
  • Contribute to knowledge-pioneering work, maintaining standards in contentious probate practices.

Ideal Candidate

  • NQ–1+ years qualified (PQE) with a portfolio of contentious probate experience.
  • Confident in taking judicious and autonomous steps in matter management while seeking mentorship.
  • Strong technical prowess, exceptional client care, and a keenness to grow within a top-tier team.
  • Proactiveness, a collaborative mindset, and a drive to excel in complex legal cases.
